It’s World Kindness Day on 13th November!

World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on 13th November. Participants attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness, either as individuals or as organisations.

Our team at Minding Family are getting on board for World Kindness Day!   We would like to challenge you to do an act of kindness for others.

Here are some ideas:

  • Leave a surprise gift from a friend or loved one
  • Bake treats for a neighbour
  • Put a surprise note in your child or partner’s lunch
  • Shop locally instead of at a big store
  • Use reusable water bottles
  • Surprise a friend or colleague with a note of appreciation
  • Hold open a door or offer to carry things for someone
  • Pick up litter when you see it on the ground
  • Cook a meal for someone

The opportunities are endless!  By doing one or several of these ideas for World Kindness Day, you can help to promote kindness. Whilst encouraging individuals to be kind to one another, this can help to build a positive community.  Our Minding Family Team have decided to contribute items towards a Christmas hamper for a needy family to be distributed by the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.

What random acts of kindness will you do?  Let us know how you go in spreading the kindness message!
